Sellora is a marketplace app for Mauritius. Sellers list what they have, buyers find it, and the two arrange the sale between themselves. This page says what the app collects about you, why, who sees it, and how to make it stop.
What we collect
Your account. The name and username you chose, your email address, your date of birth (to confirm you are at least 13), your password (stored hashed, never readable), and your profile picture and cover photo if you added them.
What you put in the app. Your posts and their photos and videos, your catalogue and product photos, your orders, your messages to other people, comments, and any payment proof you upload. If you become a seller, the identity document and selfie you send for verification.
How you use it. What you follow, save, like, comment on, watch and look at, so the feed and your reminders can be about things you care about. Your device's push token, so we can send you notifications you have turned on.
Location. Only when you choose to add a place to a post, and only the place you pick. We do not track where you are.
What stays on your phone. Your search history never leaves the device; Settings → Privacy clears it.
How we use it
To run the app: to show your posts to buyers, to put orders in front of the right seller, to let the two of you reach each other, and to verify sellers. To reach you: notifications and emails about your orders, your account, and messages sent to you. Reminders and festival greetings are sent only if you turned them on, and never more than one a day. To keep it usable: to find fraud, to act on reports, and to fix what is broken.
We do not sell your details. We do not show advertising and we do not use advertising or tracking SDKs.
Who else sees it
Other people in the app see what you post, your public profile, and what you send them. Sellers see the name, delivery details and payment proof on their own orders. Our service providers process data on our behalf: Supabase (database and sign-in), Cloudflare (photo and video storage), LiveKit (live streams), Expo and Google Firebase (push notifications), and Vercel (hosting). Payment proofs and identity documents are stored privately and shown only to the seller concerned or to Sellora staff acting on a report or a verification.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile, posts, products, messages and saved items are removed or anonymised at once. Records of completed orders are kept, without your name attached, because the other party to each sale needs them.
Your choices
Edit or delete your posts at any time. Turn reminders off in Settings → Notifications, and all notifications off in your phone's settings. Clear your search history in Settings → Privacy. Delete your account in Settings → Account, or see Delete your account. Ask for a copy of what we hold about you at support@sellora.app.
Children
Sellora is for people aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly keep an account for anyone younger; if you believe one exists, write to us and it will be removed.
